With one year to go until the Olympic Flame arrives in the UK, London 2012 has launched the search for 8,000 Torchbearers to take part in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.

The Awards recognise the achievement of children and young people looked after by Sefton MBC in a learning environment, whether in school, further education or an alternative setting.

The Spring 2011 issue of Aiming High for Disabled Children is out now! If a child or young person you know has a disability, you will find lots of useful information from short breaks to transitions, parent participation to child care for disabled children and lots more…

After the success of previous events, the Moving On Transitions / careers event for disabled young people and their parents will take place on March 16^th 2011 at Dunes Splash World. There will be stallholders providing lots of information and advice, including representatives from local colleges, supported employment, leisure opportunities, welfare rights and many more.
